After a consecutive gap of 2 years,
Barnes and Noble Company is going to release a new website with new amendments
and features. The company aims to successfully cater to the needs of the
customer that are sprouting these days.
The new website will going to satisfy
the customer needs in best possible way. However, the most important thing to
look for is whether this digital solution will help in sorting out the

I was interested to know the
after-effects of new website on sale. The newly developed website is cluttered
but less confusing than the previous version of website. The noting change that
I have observed on the new website is Nook store platform. This is totally
altered on www Nook com.
Though Barnes and Noble has captured a
functional digital platform but yet it seems like a Non-working baloney.
One day, I tried to access the E-Books
that are purchased earlier through my EBook library but accidently I could not
able to open it. This totally displeased me with negative impression about the
website in my mind. In previous version of website, I was able to download,
preview and achieve the books that I have brought online, but this feature is
totally eradicated in new website. Now, you have no option to read online books
even after signing onto www Nook comaccount from your Nook tablet.
Moreover, I could not able to find
table of contents from the Nook library that I have added earlier and the
online option to read the book is also been disabled from the screen. There’s
an option to access the saved pages of your EBook from Nook library. Yes, if
you don’t find this menu on your home screen, then you can take help from Nook com support link. This link
contains all the information related to your tablet and other E-readers.
Another point of disappointment was when
I tried to click on buy button, then I receive same message on the screen that
says ‘sorry you cannot purchase this item as you have already purchased it’.
What I want to say here is that you can buy book from B&N site only which
is totally useless. You can take Nookhelp from the website as well.
This drastic change on the website has
really put me in dilemma and I was trying to understand the intentions of
B&N that whether they are willing to continue E-readers or not. Because as
per company amendments, No update in the nook has been reported so far from the
last one year. Nook color support the
same website for all its E-reader models.
Now, if we speak from positive side,
then Barnes and Noble has made major improvements on its website from design
and services point of view to lure more and more investors. These company plans
are kept aside by the company personals due to lack of energy and
enthusiasm. This attitude towards the
E-reader is totally justified as the Digital E-reader sale is declining every
quarter because of stiff competition. So company tried to broaden the portfolio
rather than wasting money on same device.
The good news for Nook users is that
company is still providing the support and troubleshooting guide for all the
Nook tablets on their website. They have not totally ended the support for its
